IISART is dedicated to advance and promote modern healthcare technology in rehabilitation for the benefit of the patient and society at large.

IISART shall represent the interests of developers, manufacturers, and marketers of medical devices and their accessories, active capital medical equipment, and healthcare providers in the field of Robotics, Virtual Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Electrical Stimulation.

History: How It All Started

Before IISART came the INRS, an interdisciplinary conference since 2006.

2006

The first INRS in 2006 was conducted in close collaboration with the University Hospital Balgrist and attracted 280 attendees with very diverse backgrounds.

IISART was later brought to life during RehabWeeek in 2011. Now, we have 38 members and counting.
